Hello all. I'm having a problem discovering the readyshare on my router via my IMac (OSX Ver 10.6.7). The strange thing is that the Power Mac upstairs connects fine, so I know the hard drive is compatible. Whenever I navigate to Go>Connect to Server>smb://192.168.1.2
or
Go>Connect to Server>smb://readyshare
or
Go>Connect to Server>smb://readyshare/Media_Files
I get the same message:
Connection Failed
There was an error connecting to the server "readyshare". Check the server name or IP address, and then try again.
One thing that I noticed is that I can't access the share internally via the web browser either, but when I turn on external access (through the internet) I can pull it up in my browser. I do have file sharing turned on and smb is selected as well. Anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped.
