I used to have a Dlink DIR-655 which was bullet proof. I thought it was time for a upgrade. I just got a Netgear WNDR4500. It works but I have major issue with Xbox live lag. I play mostly MW3 and with the Old Dlink never lagged (unless it was a bad or US lobby) But this WNDR4500 is really bad it has so many fluctuations from read 1 bar to 5 green bars (while palying). This happens if I use wireless or wired. I have even port forwarded and still no joy. I put my old router back and it works fine. I remember when i changed to optus they gave me a netgear gc3000 which had the same lag problem. I chucked it in the bin. Is this just how netgear are? Is there something I can do to stop the lag on Xbox Live.?
