We've recently got a series of GSM7xxx series switches. We'll use a couple of GSM7224P's at the edge for L2 only and a GSM7328FS for aggregation, additionally a GSM7228PS will be linking the wiring closet near the server racks via 10G.
It currently seems that the non-stackable managed switch product use the 8.x release train while newer, non-stacked Gigabit and the 10G XSM series already use the 9.0 release train.
Although most commands are identical, I seem to have found some slight diffrences and new commands (like ipv6). Any chance the current stackable switches will see an update towards the 9.0 train?
