I had some power problems during a storm and my Stora got fried (along with my modem, router, switch and etc...) courtesy of Comcast. The Stora had two 1TB drives that were mirrored.
I've individually loaded each of the 1TB drives into a Windows 7 machine. The BIOS recognized the drives and Computer Management recognized the drives. Computer Management said the partitions are "healthy". So, I know the Stora took the kick and saved the drives; at least until I can get some data off them.
I plan to get another Netgear NAS and use these these drives. Is there any procedure to bring these back online, or do I just drop them in the new NAS?
Also, can you recommend a replacement for the Stora? I've been looking at the RND2000.
