I am unable to get Time Machine to work on my WNDR4500.
I am running 10.6.8 on my Mac.
I have a 1TB Seagate drive on an external USB adapter and formatted a ~100GB partition as Mac OS Extended (Journaling). A ~900GB partition is formatted as EXT3.
With the USB drive plugged directly into the Mac, I can select the partition as a backup disk and Time Machine is happy.
When I plug the hard drive into the WNDR4500, I am able to connect to both partitions. Actually, there are 3 partitions. S_Drive is the Time Machine drive and shows 99.4 GB available. T_Drive is the EXT3 drive and shows all the files I transferred to it from another PC. USB_Storage shows 206.4 MB available, and it was created automatically with the Mac OS Extended (Journaling) partition.
However, S_Drive does not show up when I go to Select Backup Disk in Time Machine.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Matt
