I'm running 4 Windows Server 2012 servers with a mix of Windows 8, Windows 7, MacBook Air's along with numerous wireless devices such as Xbox360's, iPad's, blah blah blah... One of my servers is running DHCP IPv4 (IPv6 is disabled). I have the DHCP server feature turned OFF in the WNDR4500 router. Wireless clients aren't being issued an IP from the Server2012 DHCP server. If I manually set the wireless devices IP, the wireless device works. I do not want to set each wireless devices IP manually, I would like the router to forward DHCP requests to my internal Server2012 DHCP server. If I connect a WIRED client directly to one of the LAN ports, an IP is issued by the Server2012 DHCP server.
I've searched Google, Bing and this website for something similar but didn't find anything useful although I will admit my searching skills aren't what they used to be. Older you get, the less patient you get. :D So, forgive me if this has been asked and answered.
Happy Holidays!
