WN3000v3 Ethernet socket ok for a PC?

Hi,

I'd like to wire a PC for Internet connection to the WN3000v3 throught the Ethernet port and still use the WN3000 as a wireless extender. I know we can connect video game systems, Bluray DVD players,... to the Ethernet port but a PC?

Not for the installation, as I can do that from my laptop, but just for a desktop.
