WNDR3400v2 Power light blinking slowly, no other lights except internet light

Hi all, not sure if I'm posting in the right place but here it goes...

The power went out in my house today :( and now my router (WNDR3400v2) will not work. The internet light turns on when hooked up to the modem and the power light just continues to blink slowly. The wireless will not turn on at all and my laptop will not work plugged into the router either (I'm directly hooked up to the modem right now).

I tried to go on the support page but I cannot download the newest firmware update without the cd. My router didn't have a cd (should it have come with a cd?) when I bought it and opened up the box. I tried to find the setup wizard but I'm not sure how to :confused:. And it seems that without the disk I can't use the wizard so I won't be able to install the new firmware to get my router fixed.

This makes me really unhappy because I've only had my router for less than 2 months. Not only that, I was running a PC and two laptops off of it for work and school. If anyone can tell me how to fix my router :), it would be very much appreciated and a million thanks to you.
